My Purpose

EcoCommunity was created to reconnect people, creators, and nature in a way most marketplaces ignore. I wanted to build a space where creativity has meaning, where purchases support real people, and where every action gives something back to the environment. Every order contributes to our Community Distribution Fund, which helps uplift the artists and makers who give EcoCommunity its heart. And to reconnect people with nature, each purchase comes with a native seed packet matched to the buyer’s region — a small step toward restoring the ecosystems we’re losing in cities. EcoCommunity exists to support creators, rebuild nature, and help communities grow stronger together.

Who are you?

My name is Adony Gomez, and I’m a wildlife biology student at Highline College with a passion for conservation and community-building. I’ve worked with Northwest Youth Corps doing hands-on ecosystem restoration and environmental stewardship, which shaped my commitment to protecting nature. I currently work full-time to support myself and to invest in the vision behind EcoCommunity. This platform is more than a project — it’s my mission to create a better, more connected community where creators can thrive and nature can heal. I’m building EcoCommunity for people who want a meaningful marketplace, a stronger support system, and a healthier planet.
